Zigong Lantern Lights the World
Zigong lanterns have traveled from Tokyo to New York, from Lithuania to France, from Russia to Saudi Arabia, and also to Romania along the “Belt and Road”. From domestic to foreign countries, the traditional lantern culture is being incubated into a world-class lantern festival industry.
In June this year, the "Chinese Lantern Festival" debuted in Saudi Arabia. In the coastal city of Jeddah, this is the first appearance of Chinese lanterns in Saudi Arabia. On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Romania, Romania also launched the "China Season" to light up the night sky with Chinese lanterns, which is also a new coordinate for Chinese lantern culture to go out and light up.
Behind all this is the national economic take-off, which makes more and more countries and regions in the world want to understand China and Chinese culture. The lantern show is an effort to promote the lantern show industry to overseas.
